Dr. James Anderson is an excellent orthopedic surgeon, excellent bedside manner by taking his time explaining his diagnosis and what he recommends for the treatment. Very knowledgeable in his field. I would highly recommend him to my friends & family.
My experience at UH was positive. I have never had any complaints about the service and treatment from UH
Always a pleasant experience; all concerns/questions were addressed.

Good experience. He was very good at explaining everything to me
Top notch!
Really good MD plus his resident.
Everything was good this time, but the last time I was there I was late for my appointment and the receptionist was very curt with me and when I thanked her for rescheduling my appointment she didn't respond with a thank you and the whole time she waited on me she was glaring her eyes at me as if she was annoyed with me.
Very good experience.
His explanation and options were very clear and very helpful.
Dr. Anderson and his resident were very helpful and explained ny condition and what treatment could be. We decided that no treatment was necessary at this time (Dupitrynes Contractute).
Great physician and team. Couldn't ask for better!
Dr. Anderson has treated me before. He is great, always Explains everything!

Good
Dr. Anderson was very attentive and has a great manner with the patient.
Excellent care. Given a particular number to call to schedule surgery. Very helpful. Found generalized scheduling for AL UH doctors, at best, frustrating.

Dr Anderson is awesome. He is an excellent surgeon and very compassionate
The doctor was great, but over an hour late to see me.
I love Dr. Anderson!!!
I have great confidence in Dr. Anderson's abilities but I hesitate to go in for a visit as it requires a long wait and I often do not have the time for that.
Doctor Anderson has been caring for the arthritis I have in my left hand; I've seen him twice in 8 months for cortisone injections. In each appointment, I found him to be a great listener, attentive, compassionate, and answering my questions. Dr. Anderson isn't my primary care physician, but I was referred to him by my primary care doc *** but Dr. Anderson is also great, too. He and his staff have always been courteous and helpful.-***
Dr Anderson is excellent. My experience at *** was top notch!!
Good
I love Dr. Anderson. He's one of a kind!!
Dr. Anderson did a very nice job. He was not the right doctor for my son's arm care. He quickly scheduled us an appointment with the right doctor the next day. So I am very happy that he was able to find us another appointment so we could quickly get care and be on our care journey. I am pleased with my care. ***
Exceptionally good doctor!
I would recommend Dr. Anderson. Very easy to understand and very friendly. Makes you feel very comfortable.

Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
