Each year our Annual Report showcases many of the remarkable people who comprise UH – our patients, caregivers, donors, volunteers, business partners and community stakeholders. It’s also an opportunity to highlight new initiatives and recent success.
2020 will forever be etched in our memories much like other historically significant events. Nearly every industry can lay claim to incurring monumental impact from the pandemic. However, no industry has been such a champion in the response efforts as healthcare. Never before have health systems and medical experts been more relied upon by the communities we serve and the government administrations in charge than they have been during the pandemic. As we reflect on 2020, there are many accomplishments to celebrate that have served as UH’s legacy for more than 150 years and propelled our mission: To Heal. To Teach. To Discover.
