It was more than a celebration when over 1,000 friends and supporters of UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s gathered in April 2018 – they were helping to expand UH Rainbow’s reach across the community. Ride the Rainbow’s 2018 theme, “Growing Our Big Backyard,” was well-timed for a year that included the opening of UH Rainbow Center for Women & Children, expanding service at UH Ahuja and UH St. John medical centers as well as growing the region’s largest pediatric care network.

Led by chairs Terri Kennedy, Stephanie Antunez and Lynne Marcus Cohen, Ride the Rainbow raised more than $1.5 million, which will help expand UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s to make care accessible to all, spreading hope from backyard to backyard.

Raising nearly $8.5 million since its inception in 2004, this signature event provides resources that help build innovative programs, enhance advocacy outreach and attract the best pediatric medical talent for UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s.
