Study Purpose
The purpose of this study is to see if a specific bacterium that causes pneumonia, Mycoplasma pneumoniae, has any role in causing a medical condition in which standing-up causes a sensation of fainting or passing-out, with symptoms of burning in the feet (medically called neuropathic postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (nPOTS).
