sIRB Assessment of structure and function of human aneurysm
Improving cerebral aneurysm risk assessment through understanding wall vulnerability and failure modes.

Study Purpose
This research is being done to better understand cerebral (brain) aneurysms and/or an arteriovenous malformation (AVM). By directly analyzing the aneurysm and/or AVM tissue (that is normally thrown away) using advanced bioimaging and experimental tools, we have the opportunity to better understand the causes of rupture and the potential devastating morbidity associated with it.
