Study Purpose

Most cancers do not have an early detection test; therefore, many people are diagnosed at advanced stages and have limited treatment options. Cancer causes a variety of changes throughout the body which can often be detected in the blood. We hope to identify unique metabolite patterns in the blood of patients with different types of cancer. These could be leveraged as an inexpensive screen to identify patients with a potential cancer.
