Study Purpose

The purpose of this study is to determine if early high volume intravenous fluid administration (hyperhydration) to children diagnosed with STEC infection improves kidney and other clinical outcomes when compared with a conservative fluid management approach.

Who Can Participate

Participants 9 months to < 21 years old with a diagnosis of STEC infection or early HUS may be eligible for this study.
