Ovidrel Trigger Patient Instructions

Ovidrel (250 mcg)
Storage: Store in the refrigerator. Take out of refrigerator 10-15 minutes before injecting. May be left out at room temperature for up to 30 days.
Special Considerations: Rotate injection sites.
Supplies: Ovidrel prefilled syringe, alcohol swabs.
Instructions
- Wash your hands and work on a clean, dry surface.
- Take prefilled syringe and get the air out by pushing the end of the plunger so there is no air at the top of the syringe.
Administration
- Choose an injection site on your abdomen (see image).
- Clean the area with an alcohol swab and allow to dry.
- Pinch up the skin.
- Insert the needle straight into the skin- do not go in at an angle.
