This year’s Annual Report reflects the strength and momentum of a system delivering consistent performance and growing impact. More patients are choosing UH for their care, driving growth across inpatient services, surgeries and emergency visits, and reflecting increased demand for complex care, including cancer, heart and transplant services.
The report also reflects continued momentum in research and clinical excellence, with total research funding reaching a record $237 million in 2025 despite a challenging environment.
Community generosity remains a powerful force behind our work. In 2025, UH surpassed $1.75 billion in philanthropic support through Because of You: The Campaign for University Hospitals, reflecting deep trust in our mission and the care delivered every day by our caregivers.
