Study Purpose

The purpose of this study is to look at the effectiveness of self-management in the young adult population. This study will collect information about 5 times and participants will be asked to monitor their blood sugars and wear a wrist device that monitors your activity and sleep patterns. This is a 9-month research study with an initial 60-minute session and subsequent booster sessions that are about 30-45 minutes long. Brief weekly check-ins over the 12-week intervention period will also occur.

Who Can Participate

Participants 18-31 years of age diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes for at least one year may be eligible for this study.
