E-Visit Terms and Conditions

What is an E-Visit?

An E-Visit is an online visit with a provider that can be used as an alternative to a traditional office visit for common medical conditions. This is a convenient and affordable way to receive an online diagnosis and treatment plan for mild to moderate illness and skin conditions.

E-Visits should not be used for emergencies. Please call 9-1-1 or visit your nearest emergency room if you are experiencing serious symptoms such as chest pain, difficulty breathing or uncontrolled bleeding.

What to expect during an E-Visit?

It will take 10 – 20 minutes to answer a series of questions about yourself, how you’re feeling and the symptoms you’re experiencing. Please note you may be asked to provide photos of areas of concern, such as a rash. An E-Visit provider will review your responses to create a care plan or recommend what to do next. You'll be notified when your treatment plan is available, usually within 24 hours.

If your E-Visit cannot be completed for any reason, you will not be charged. If a provider feels an in-person or video visit is needed – you will be offered those options.

How much does an E-Visit cost?

Prior to starting your E-Visit, you’ll be asked to enter your payment information. The cost for E-Visits is $40. You can pay with a credit, debit or HSA card.
