Ongoing research, innovative imaging equipment and cardiovascular expertise pinpoint existing or potential problems. Precise diagnostic techniques combined with cardiovascular expertise help to pinpoint existing or potential problems faster and more accurately.
Ultimately, patients benefit from the latest clinical trials in which our cardiovascular imaging specialists participate on an ongoing basis. This research is conducted for the continuous improvement of cardiovascular imaging equipment and techniques. Recently, the center’s core laboratory partnered in the NXT Trial that led to FDA approval of Fractional Flow Reserve Computed Tomography (FFR-CT) analysis.
We offer a comprehensive range of non-invasive diagnostic imaging at both our main campus and our outpatient health centers, providing convenient and comfortable patient care.
Multi-modality (“conventional”) imaging including two-dimensional echocardiograms, electrocardiograms, and stress testing are provided at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, and also at outpatient health centers University Hospitals Minoff Health Center at Chagrin Highlands, University Hospitals Euclid Health Center, University Hospitals Mentor Health Center and University Hospitals Westlake Health Center. “High-tech” studies such as CT scans, MRIs and nuclear medicine are performed at UH Cleveland Medical Center and UH Minoff Health Center at Chagrin Highlands.
