UH Seidman Cancer Center is committed to academic development and education. We work with a variety of educational institutions, including Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, to create unique learning opportunities for medical students.
The Hematology and Oncology Fellowship Training Program provides clinical and research training in the fields of hematology and medical oncology. The fellowship is available to qualified internal medicine graduates and is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Two- and three-year training programs in hematology and/or medical oncology are available.
The Department of Radiation Oncology has an exceptionally strong medical residency program. The four year program was recently re-accredited by the ACGME. Department faculty teach numerous medical students from CWRU as well as visiting medical students from around the country.
