Cystic Fibrosis Clinic Provides the Full Spectrum of Care in One Convenient Location

Our cystic fibrosis (CF) clinic for both children and adults is held in the KC and Ginny Bryan Pulmonary Diagnostic Center on the main campus of University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital, in Cleveland, Ohio. This unique care model, with pediatric and adult specialists working side by side, brings the entire spectrum of cystic fibrosis care into one setting and allows for outstanding continuity of care.

As part of the outpatient clinic, our Genetics Center performs genetic carrier and prenatal testing (chorionic villus sampling and amniocentesis) and genetic counseling. The Genetics Center plays an active role in our Cystic Fibrosis Newborn Screening Clinic, as well as aiding in the diagnosis of adults.

Our pediatric CF clinic is held primarily on Tuesdays. The adult CF clinic is held primarily on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Adult clinic patients are also seen at UH Fairlawn Health Center in Akron.

In addition, we offer telemedicine visits with our physicians, dieticians, social workers, respiratory therapists, pharmacist and genetic counselor.
