What to Expect During a Visit With the Vascular Anomalies Clinic (VAC)

• Prior to your visit, the VAC team will review all relevant medical records, including results of imaging studies and prior therapies that have been trialed.
• During the visit, you or your child will meet with members of the VAC team in a large group setting, including physicians from a variety of specialties, to discuss your medical history and to conduct a thorough physical examination.
• Based on the information available, we may recommend additional testing or begin discussion about therapy options.
• Through shared decision making, the patient and VAC team will determine the next best steps for moving forward.
• We may take clinical photographs to help track progress.
