Dr Lumapas did not ask me to explain in my own words, but her conversation with my wife and I made it clear to me the purpose of the new medication and she made every effort to make us comfortable with the choice among other possible alternatives.

Dr. Lumapas is wonderful. I really liked my previous Rheumatologist (also with UH) but he retired. Dr. Lumapas is even better. And her office is close to where I live, which is perfect.
Dr. Lumapas, Is the best reumatlogist I've ever seen she had discovered things that had been wrong with me and I had seen my other reumatlogist for 10 yrs prior to her and really just added more drugs where as Dr LUMAPAS removed the drugs and started all over did tons of blood work etc she is wonderful I can actually function now where as before my mobility was not good at all and I can walk , more than I could for a very long time I couldn't climb stairs so with the medicines I am as active as I can be in my grandchildrens lives which are the loves of my life and with my hands crippling all up I'm able to garden which is my serenity in life so I commend Dr .Arminda Lumapas

My first visit. She was very friendly and knowledgeable, but spoke too fast for me to understand some of what she was saying. I asked her to speak more slowly and she did for a few sentences, then it was too fast again. I got the general idea, but didn't completely understand everything she was saying.
