I have been struggling with an ear disorder for sometime. I had visited with Dr. Cliff Megerian many years ago and since his ascension to President of UH, I failed to find someone to help me continue on this journey.until my appointment with Dr. Brandon. He was interested, intelligent, and precise. My audiologist was kind, informative, and thorough. THIS is what healthcare should be. Although I arrived with great trepidation, I was grateful to have encountered them both.

Dr. Zuchowski was absolutely wonderful. He was very nice, very informative and one of the first doctors to actually look into my problem, complete a scope and provide me with answers and a care plan (I previously saw urgent care, emergency room and an internal med doctor and none of them were as attentive or truly caring about my problem as Dr. Zuchowski). I was really surprised how fast I was called back into the room and how fast he came in to see me. He listened to everything I experienced, he asked permission to do a scope and to record the scope to show me. I really enjoyed watching the video of the scope. While watching the video, he informed me of everything we saw while pointing out what parts of the body was what. He answered all my questions and designed a care plan to start getting this issue I've been dealing with fixed. I didn't expect a scope or answers my first visit. I expected to come back for a second visit to have a scope done and to get answers. I was very satisfied all of that happened my first visit. I would 10/10 recommend him to my family and friends. The office staff was also very friendly, smiley, and efficient.

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
