EXCELLENT care provided by Dr Tabahha and his nurse! He helped me with a script for a leg bandage even though he had not prescribed the product before(Coban wrap) for my stimwave implant. I appreciate that during my visit, that he asked me if I was "alright" because he did notice that I was not as interactive with him as much as normal(didn't sleep well). Made me feel as if he really paid attention to me as a patient, a human being. Thank you Dr.Tabahha!

Dr Tabbaa talked to me, listened to me, studied my MRI, examined me, talked to me some more, studied my MRI more and was honest with me that he was not sure what was causing my pain. But he came up with a plan and explained it to me and I was scheduled for my next appointment within 1 week of the appointment which was wonderful.

As long as my Dr. Is Tabbaa I will be extremely happy. If something changes I hope to get another doctor as understanding as Dr. Tabbaa, I really don't want to go back to ***. Finding Dr. Tabbaa so many years ago was "as they say" a God send. All other doctors I had seen before Dr. Tabbaa was not as understanding to what I was going through, he and he alone is why I can deal with my situation.

Managing Chronic Pain – Where to Start

More than 50 million Americans suffer from chronic pain. But there are some promising new therapies. A team approach can help manage and treat chronic pain.

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.

As of December 31, 2016, Kutaiba Tabbaa did not disclose any Outside Relationships with Industry.
