Patient Experience Reviews
My visit with Tina is among the best experiences I've had with medical care. She clearly looked at my medical history before my arrival and I did not have to explain anything as she was already aware. Talking to Tina was as routine as talking to a long time friend. She explained everything very well and was sure to check that I understood and elaborate if needed. 10/10 would recommend
Always professional and knowledgeable. She takes time to listen to my concerns regarding my health issues.

She's the best down to earth answers. Any questions already recommended her two friends and family.
It was a pleasant experience
This provider was one of the most thorough and informative practitioners I have ever seen with a very pleasant manner.
It was obvious that Tina had carefully reviewed the purpose for my appt and the recent CT scan results. She quickly diagnosed the issue and contacted colo-rectal surgery and interventional radiology during my visit and hospital admission was recommended asap. She was compassionate and professional and I appreciated her attention to me and her quick consultation with appropriate providers.
The provider was extremely thorough, kind and concerned with my complaints and had good knowledge of my history though this was my first visit with this new provider. My prior provider had left the practice.
DR TINA CORKWELL TOOK THE TIME TO FIND OUT HOW MY *** WAS DOING AND HOW I WAS FEELING OVERALL, DOCTERS DON'T DO THAT TODAY SHE TREATS YOU LIKE A PERSON NOT A NUMBER I LIKE THAT. SHE ALSO WENT OVER MY CONDITION AND I LEARNT A FEW THINGS ABOUT MY CONDITION.
Dr. Corkwell was very attentive and listened to my concerns. She ordered a urine test and prescribed a rx for me. She did not rush me and was very concerned.
Great provider . Would highly recommend !
Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
