About
Harinder Singh, MD, is Chief of the Division of Pediatric Cardiology at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s and a Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He previously served as Director of Pediatric electrophysiology and the Richard S. Wayne, MD, Endowed Chair in pediatric cardiology at the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio and Associate Professor at Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Singh is board certified in pediatric cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics, and he is a fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society with certifications in electrophysiology and cardiac device specialist. Dr. Singh’s clinical interests include treating pediatric cardiology, electrophysiology, arrhythmia and autonomic nervous system conditions.
Dr. Singh earned an undergraduate pre-medicine degree from Bhavan’s College, Pune University, India. His medical degree is from Topiwala National Medical College, Mumbai University, India, with a diploma in child health from the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Mumbai, India. Dr. Singh completed pediatric residencies at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children, Mumbai University, India, and at Children’s Hospital of Michigan, Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit. Dr. Singh went on to pursue fellowships in pediatric cardiology and pediatric electrophysiology at Children’s Hospital of Michigan, Wayne State University School of Medicine.
Dr. Singh is a member of the Heart Rhythm Society, Pediatric and Congenital Electrophysiology Society and Association of Medical Consultants, India. Dr. Singh serves as an editor/reviewer for several clinical publications and journals including Congenital Heart Disease, Pacing and Clinical Electrophysiology and Journal of Perinatology, to name a few.
An avid educator, Dr. Singh is a frequent speaker at national and international medical meetings and contributor to several clinical curriculums and courses. He has received numerous grants and is involved in numerous pediatric cardiology clinical trials and research.
