UH Translational Laboratory Menu
The unique combination of academic research, state-of-the-art technology, medical education and clinical care in hospitals linked to universities allows the identification of unmet market needs and the development of novel diagnostics tests. Accordingly, the University Hospitals Translational Laboratory was created with the goal of advancing and further developing new molecular diagnostic methodologies originally conceived in the academic and clinical laboratories at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and Case Western Reserve University. Our main objective is to facilitate the development of translational research into commercial assays or products, including characterization, verification, and validation in a CLIA/CAP certified environment under a GLP framework.
