Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program

The pediatric dentistry residency program is a two-year post-doctoral program that follows closely to the guidelines prepared by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. The program is fully accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation. The purpose of this residency is to train the specialist as a qualified practitioner, consultant and advocate for complete dental treatment of healthy and special needs children. Our program offers a balanced clinical and didactic curriculum in advanced infant, child and adolescent dental care. The curriculum includes courses in areas such as behavioral management, facial growth and development, hospital dentistry, conscious sedation, genetics and pharmacology.
