Our Physician Groups
University Hospitals includes two physician employment organizations: University Hospitals Medical Group (UHMG) and University Hospitals Medical Practices (UHMP).
UHMG serves as the faculty practice group for our academic faculty and is closely aligned with Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Physicians employed by UHMG provide patient care at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, a tertiary and quaternary medical center specializing in adult and pediatric medical and surgical care. UH Cleveland Medical Center is consistently ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of America’s best hospitals.
UHMP, our community practice arm, provides patient care at more than 40 outpatient health centers, with primary care physician offices in 15 counties throughout Northeast Ohio. In fact, UHMP is the largest primary care network in the region.
