About UH Ahuja Medical Center
University Hospitals Ahuja Medical Center, which opened in 2011, is situated on 53 acres in Beachwood, Ohio. Named for and supported by a generous donation from the Ahuja family, UH Ahuja Medical Center is designed to be one of the safest and most technologically advanced hospitals in the country. Built on a calm, park-like campus that includes gardens and walkways, our medical center provides exceptional care to residents of Cuyahoga, Lake and Summit counties.
Our hospital delivers patient- and family-centered care, provided in a healing environment built around the principles of evidence-based design. Features include:
- A healing garden that provides a therapeutic, calming environment for patients, families and hospital caregivers.
- Interior finishes chosen both for their aesthetic appeal and because they do not produce unhealthy off-gassing emissions. The nature-inspired wood tones and soothing colors promote a sense of well-being for all.
- Artwork on display throughout the facility has been selected to engage and uplift all those who view it.
