To Our Volunteers:

We are committed to recognizing the time and talent provided by our volunteers as a vital component of our mission in assisting and attending to the non-medical needs of patients and their families. We are committed to ensuring that our volunteers feel a sense of meaningfulness from their volunteer work and receive recognition for their efforts.

High-quality Care and Professional Work Environment. We are committed to providing a work environment that has state-of-the-art facilities, advanced technology, outstanding professional support and an atmosphere that advances high-quality patient care, medical education and research.

To Our Third-party Payors:
Billing Accuracy and Contractual Compliance. We are committed to working with our third-party payors in a way that demonstrates our commitment to contractual obligations and compliance with laws and regulations, and that reflects our shared goal of providing quality healthcare in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
To Our Regulators:
Compliance with Rules and Regulations. We are committed to providing an environment in which compliance with rules, regulations (including the federal healthcare program requirements), ethical business practices and our Code of Conduct is woven into the corporate culture. We accept the responsibility to diligently self-govern and monitor adherence to the requirements of applicable laws and to our Code of Conduct.
To the Communities We Serve:
Good Will and Good Cause. We are committed to understanding the particular needs of the communities we serve and providing these communities high-quality, cost-effective healthcare.
As a charitable organization, we recognize our responsibility to assist those in need. In addition, from time to time we support charitable organizations and events whose missions are consistent with that of UH.
