University Hospitals IRS Form 990
Form 990 is the information return that nonprofit organizations file each year with the Internal Revenue Service. As part of University Hospitals’ commitment to transparency and to sharing information with the community, we are pleased to provide our 2011 Form 990 filings (for the year ended Dec. 31, 2011) for review here:
University Hospitals submits two Form 990 returns annually to the IRS. The first return filed includes only the Parent organization of the health system, known and providing services as University Hospitals Health System, Inc. The second return filed is a Group Return or consolidated Form 990. This includes all tax-exempt entities of the health system, for example, our hospitals, and excludes the tax-exempt Parent organization.
Please note that our Form 990 returns include only tax-exempt entities within the University Hospitals health system. University Hospitals’ consolidated audited financial statements provide additional financial information and may be viewed, along with other investor-related materials and disclosures, at www.dacbond.com. (Free registration is required.)
