Endocrinology Fellowship, Pediatric

The Pediatric Endocrinology Training Program consists of a three-year comprehensive clinical and research experience that is designed to train future leaders in pediatric endocrinology. The program is intended for candidates who wish to pursue a career in academic medicine, combining clinical care, education and research activities. The program is ACGME-accredited and accepts up to two fellows each year.

Program Aims:

1. Provide fellows with the training and experiential opportunities necessary to develop into effective educators and clinical/translational researchers within the field of pediatric endocrinology, particularly in the subfields of diabetes and obesity.
2. Train pediatric endocrine physicians who effectively lead multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality, evidence-based care to children with diabetes and endocrine disease.
3. Train pediatric endocrine physicians who understand the impact of social determinants of health and who engage in advocacy for these needs through clinical work in underserved populations and larger-scale advocacy interventions.
