Hospital Medicine Fellowship, Pediatric

Our goal with this ACGME accredited fellowship is to train excellent clinical educators in the field of pediatric hospital medicine. Fellows are educated in an environment that fosters excellent clinical care, scholarship and camaraderie. Fellows will have graduated autonomy throughout their clinical experiences and are provided flexibility to complete their scholarly project in an area of interest specific to their individual needs. Division faculty mentors are experts in the area of clinical research, quality and medical education and are easily accessible to fellows.

Our well-established Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship curriculum is modeled after the national standards for pediatric hospital medicine fellowship training and focuses on our role and leaders within the hospital system for the care of acutely ill children. Our 2 year program allows for abundant clinical experiences in addition to dedicated research time with direct mentorship and oversight.

Trainees who complete our program are eligible to take the subspecialty board examination in pediatric hospital medicine. Our program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education and accepts one fellow per year.
