Cerebrovascular and Skull Base Fellowship

The Department of Neurological Surgery at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center offers a one year clinical fellowship in Cerebrovascular and Skull Base Surgery. Fellows are trained in the surgical management of neurovascular disorders and complex skull base tumors, giving the fellow a comprehensive educational experience in cerebrovascular and skull base neurosurgery. Graduates of the fellowship will be well prepared for careers in academic neurosurgery and subspecialty practice.

Fellows become an integral part of the Department of Neurological Surgery and actively participate in the training and education of residents and medical students. Fellows manage the pre- and postoperative care of patients in surgical and outpatient clinic settings.

Independent research projects are encouraged and protected research time will be available.

Qualified applicants should have graduated from an ACGME accredited neurosurgery residency program. Foreign trained applicants must hold a valid ECFMG certificate and must have some post-graduate training in the US.
