Giving Back to the UH Family
Twins Mary Ann Dragon, RN, BSN, MBA, and Ann Marie Dragon, RN, BSN, MBA, have a combined 70 years of service to University Hospitals. When asked why they have spent their entire careers at UH, the answer comes without hesitation: UH is family.
“UH Rainbow and the people I work with are part of me,” said Mary Ann. “I want to support them in what we do every day.”
Mary Ann is Director of Patient and Family Services for UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s and MacDonald Women’s hospitals. Her sister, Ann Marie, is the Clinical Coordinator for Pediatric Palliative Care at UH Rainbow. Both are ardent supporters of physician and employee giving and together have cumulatively contributed more than $38,000, predominantly to UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s.
“UH gave me a chance to do so many new things in my career,” said Ann Marie. “That’s special and I want to support the organization that supported me and my goals. When you give to UH as an employee, you have the unique opportunity to see your donation in action and how it’s supporting the UH mission.”
