Research Compliance Education & Outreach
The UH Clinical Research Center at University Hospitals is committed to promoting standards of excellence in the conduct of clinical and translational research. The UH Office of Research Compliance, Education and Community Outreach (ORC) is focused on a variety of areas, including identifying best practices for the conduct of research, ensuring compliance with requirements and ethical standards, providing education and training for the research community, and promoting and supporting research activities across the UH system.
Among our services, the ORC conducts routine and for-cause audits of active clinical trials, provides a research education course catalog offering over 40 courses covering a variety of research topics, and provides materials and support to aid in study recruitment for new and established research teams.

Clinical Research Orientation
UH Clinical Research Orientation provides information about navigating the research system at UH, as well as reference materials that address working with the IRB, institutional policies and contacts, research financials, regulations that govern clinical research, and the primary duties of those conducting clinical research.
All new UH employees and credentialed non-employees engaged in research at UH are required to attend. Please email ResearchCompliance@UHhospitals.org to register.
