Study Purpose
The purpose of this research study is to find out if mechanical thrombectomy is better than medical management in treating patients who have a large stroke and to examine if images obtained by CT scan can identify patients for thrombectomy just as efficiently as perfusion imaging.
Who Can Participate
Participants 18 -85 years old who suffered an acute ischemic stroke may be eligible for this study.
