Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship Research Training

conferenceA fundamental aspect of the Case Western Reserve University / University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery Fellowship is teaching trainees how to master the research process and incorporate research into their everyday lives. We have a diverse group of faculty with varied backgrounds, providing opportunity for collaboration on a broad range of research topics.

Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery fellows choose a mentor from URPS faculty based on their basic science, translational or clinical research interests. Fellows dedicate a total of 12 months to research during their training, in alignment with ACGME requirements. The thesis project is completed and presented in the third year of fellowship.
