Understanding Bipolar Disorder in Older Adults

Have you experienced an increase or decrease in your need for sleep? Are you extremely depressed one day but feel like you're on top of the world the next? Have you been diagnosed with Manic Depression or Bipolar Disorder? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions and are 60 or older, you may be able to participate in a research study.

The Department of Psychiatry at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and Case School of Medicine is currently conducting a study on Bipolar disorder in older adults. Study Participants will receive psychological assessments and medication at no cost and will be compensated for study visits.
