Pain Medicine Fellows Participate in Interdisciplinary Clinics

There are several types of clinics in which the fellow will be involved. There are the usual pain medicine clinics where the fellow and/or residents see patients and staff them with an attending physician. Fellows will be expected to be familiar with these patients by reviewing them on the electronic medical record the night before.

The fellows are also involved in several interdisciplinary clinics. These include a Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) clinic, a Pelvic Pain clinic, and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinic. This gives fellows exposure to neurologists, psychologists, psychiatrists, physiatrist, urologists, and gynecologists in clinical settings.

The clinics are assigned by the fellow that makes the daily schedule and fellow/resident assignments.
