Leah Basch, MSHS, PA-C
After nearly 10 years of experience as a physician assistant specializing in breast health and surgical oncology, Leah joins the UH Connor Integrative Health Network eager to guide patients along their journey to optimal health through integrative medicine. With a Master of Science in Health Science (MSHS) and background in nutrition and psychology, Leah is deeply in line with our focus to not only be integrative, but integrated throughout the entire UH system. She was first introduced to integrative medicine as a patient after receiving a physician referral for acupuncture following a debilitating surgical procedure. This was the catalyst for seeking other therapeutic modalities. And after personally experiencing the benefits of these therapies, she became a Reiki master and licensed yoga instructor. Influenced by both her professional and personal experience with the health care system, Leah is committed to restoring patients’ ownership of their health and overall well-being.
