On-Site Education Programs to Improve Employees’ Health and Well-Being
The University Hospitals Accountable Care Organization (UHACO) offers access to health education programs that can address the specific needs of your employees. The programs can be delivered directly within your workplace for up to 40 participants.
UH Tobacco KnockOut
UH Tobacco KnockOut is a seven-week course developed by a tobacco cessation specialist to provide practical and proven strategies to quit tobacco use. Each participant will work toward realistic, individual cessation goals in a positive and reinforcing environment.
The UHACO created the UH OptiWeight™ program to inspire participants to improve their nutrition and increase physical activity by providing practical strategies that can be incorporated into busy schedules and are supported by evidence-based information through classes led by dietitians. UH OptiWeight™ provides:
- A structure for individualized and attainable goals
- Tips on what food to shop for and keep at home
- Information on how to read food labels
- A focus on how mindfulness can improve mealtime
- Easy recipes and cooking lessons
- Tips for integrating more physical activity into your day
Each participant will set their own goals and will be supported by a UH OptiWeight™ coach throughout the program.
UH Dance4Fitness is a very popular health and wellness program focused on teaching participants synchronized dance movements to music, including Jazz, Pop, Oldies, Country, Latin, R&B, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Blues and more.
