With just a 5 percent survival rate for stage IV metastatic melanoma, cancer survivor Sandy Borrelli shares her story about how she beat the odds. Sandy turned to the multidisciplinary melanoma team at University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center. With access to advanced treatments, her physician team suggested that she enroll in a clinical trial. Sandy’s positive attitude and strength of character helped her thrive.
