This review process ensures that all realistic treatment options are considered for central nervous system cancer.

Cancer Clinical Trials

UH Seidman Cancer Center has many available clinical trials [link to clinical trials] for patients with cancer. Clinical trials are done to find out if new cancer treatments are safe and effective or better than the standard treatment. For some patients, taking part in a clinical trial may be the best treatment choice. Some current clinical trial options include:

  • Studying how well chemotherapy and radiation therapy work in treating younger patients with newly diagnosed central nervous system germ cell tumors. Learn more.
  • Studying chemo and an antibody with or without radiation for Central Nervous System Lymphoma. Learn more.
