Every six minutes in the United States, a woman is diagnosed with some form of gynecologic cancer. University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center brings together a team of board-certified gynecologic oncologists to help patients in the fight against cancer. Together, they provide expert care, including physical, emotional and spiritual support for women with gynecologic cancer.

Ranked among the best hospitals in the nation, UH Seidman Cancer Center is one of 40 Comprehensive Cancer Centers designated by the National Cancer Institute (NCI). We hold this designation for our ongoing and significant advances in cancer research and treatment.

Gynecologic cancer treatment at UH Seidman Cancer Center features proven therapies - surgery, chemotherapy, radiation or a combination of the three. Our oncology experts may administer these treatments using the latest technologies, including:

  • Interperitoneal chemotherapy: focuses treatment directly within the abdomen
