At University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, our anesthesiology program will prepare you for whatever type of practice you wish to pursue. Our Anesthesiology Residency Program offers a rich clinic caseload that encompasses all areas of anesthesiology and a solid didactic program that will have you well on your way toward board certification.

Fellowship Training Opportunities

For those who wish to further their experience, subspecialty fellowship programs are offered in Pain Medicine, Pediatric Anesthesia, and Critical Care Medicine.

Anesthesiology Rotation for Medical Students

Medical students rotating in the UH Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine gain a wise array of experiences ranging from fundamental technical skills to attending conferences with anesthesiology residents. The medical student elective is an excellent opportunity to get to know department faculty and strengthen your fundamental anesthesia clinical skills.
