We perform surgery to correct conditions such as tear duct blockages, cataracts, glaucoma, strabismus, droopy lid and orbital tumors. We also perform surgery on newborn patients diagnosed with retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), which can cause blindness in severe cases if left untreated. In some cases, we are even able to perform ROP surgery right at the newborn’s bedside in UH Rainbow’s highly advanced neonatal intensive care unit.
