UH and Other Organizations Offer Helpful Resources for AYA Cancer Patients
There are many community-based and online resources for adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer patients in northeast Ohio, available through University Hospitals and through other organizations and the local and national levels. These programs offer education, support, and therapeutic opportunities to help patients and families deal with the physical, emotional, and social impact of cancer.
The Adolescent & Young Adult Cancer Center offers a host of valuable educational resources to arm patients and their families with information about cancer and cancer treatment. These resources will connect teens and young adults with the latest information on cancer treatment and research, and give them access to support services, survivorship and advocacy groups.
