Residents in Department of Plastic Surgery Participate in Research and Clinical Rotations

Residents at University Hospitals Department of Plastic Surgery in Cleveland, Ohio gain invaluable training and experience through the stringent research and clinical residency rotations.

Participation in Research Studies

Each resident in the integrated program spends three dedicated months in the research lab during residency providing ample opportunity for research training.

Residents are required to participate in at least two studies while in the research rotation and two clinical or anatomical studies each year thereafter.

These studies are converted to manuscripts by the residents and submitted for publication in a peer-reviewed journal. Additionally, these studies are presented at local, regional and national meetings.
