University Hospitals is proud to offers comprehensive osteopathic medical education programs within the community. These internship, residency and fellowship programs are available at University Hospitals Bedford and Richmond Medical Center, campuses of UH Regional Hospitals and University Hospitals Parma Medical Center.
Our osteopathic training programs offer clinical rotations in a variety of disciplines, so that interns, residents and fellows can gain a well-rounded educational experience in patient care. Specialty areas such as family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, orthopaedic surgery and nephrology are covered through our osteopathic medical education programs.

Osteopathic Medical Education at UH Bedford and Richmond Medical Centers
At UH Bedford and Richmond medical centers, we offer internships, residencies and fellowships in osteopathic medicine. American Osteopathic Association (AOA)-accredited residencies are offered in specialties such as family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, dermatology and orthopaedic surgery. We also offer fellowships in sports medicine and allergy/immunology.

Osteopathic Medical Education at UH Parma Medical Center
UH Parma Medical Center offers AOA-accredited osteopathic residencies in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine. These programs provide comprehensive training through a variety of rotations, giving physicians a well-rounded education in many clinical areas.
