Dr. Pensiero is an Academic Hospitalist at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Classics from The Ohio State University where she also completed her medical degree. She did her residency training at UH Cleveland Medical Center and joined the ranks of faculty in July 2017. Her clinical time is spent as a hospitalist on the VA Medicine Services, attending in the VA Emergency Department, and directing the Professional Development Block. Her interests include resident wellness, inpatient diabetes management, medical education, and physical fitness.

In her free time, Dr. Pensiero enjoys hanging out with her dog, Marty McFly, playing sports of any kind, watching/attending Ohio State football games, Peloton rides with Robin Arzon, and traveling with her friends.
