Interventional Cardiac Catheterization conferences

Interventional Cardiac Catheterization conferences are held twice weekly on Tuesday and Thursday mornings for one hour each and rotate between didactic sessions on core curricula given by our own fellows and faculty, special lectures by guest faculty from around the world and case conferences given by the fellows with close interaction with a senior faculty member to review technical aspects of cardiovascular intervention and management of complications.

Interventional Cardiology Journal Club

There is also a regular Journal Club conference that meets quarterly, where major new articles are critically reviewed. Additional special sessions are held throughout the year with visiting faculty from other world-renowned institutions. In addition, fellows are invited to all other division conferences including Clinical Case Conference Wednesday mornings and Cardiovascular Division Grand Rounds on Thursdays at noon. Finally, all fellows are expected to completed modules on the SCAI Fellows Core Curriculum and Fellows-in-Training (FIT) Portal.
