Arsalan Derakhshan, MD
Arsalan Derakhshan, MD, is an academic hospitalist at University Hospitals and the director of the Global Health Track for the Internal Medicine Residency Program. He completed his undergraduate studies from Emory University where he received a joint B.S./M.S. degree in biology and a minor in global health. He attended the Medical College of Georgia and completed internal medicine residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is one of the hosts of The Clinical Problem Solvers podcast and his academic interests including medical education, clinical reasoning, global health and medical innovations.
Outside of work, Dr. Derakhshan enjoys philosophical discussions, drinking tea, and running.
