Letter from Director of Postgraduate Nurse Practitioner Programs

Message from Director of Dermatology Training Program for Nurse Practitioners

In 2007, the Department of Dermatology at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center developed an innovative post-master’s residency for nurse practitioners (NPs) who wish to specialize in dermatology in our department. This two-year post-master’s NP training program provides a structured education and training that leverages our robust dermatologic educational resources, and supports the successful transition-to-practice for the interprofessional education collaborative expert medical dermatology practice of our NP providers. Graduates from the program provide high-quality, evidence-based patient care within a diverse and complex healthcare environment.

Sincerely,
