What Should I Bring To The Hospital?

Many things are provided for you during your hospital stay. Diapers, wipes, baby bath, and baby lotion are in the drawer under your infant’s crib. We provide t-shirts, a hat and blankets for your baby, or you can dress him/her in outfits from home. Disposable underwear and pads will be given to you after delivery. We also provide free wireless internet. Things you may want to bring include:

For Labor

  • Relaxation materials (books, magazines, cards, iPod, laptop, cd's)
  • Focal Point (a picture, stuffed animal, etc.) Your room will have a ceiling panel lava light.
  • Camera
  • Chap stick/lip gloss
  • Ponytail holders for long hair
  • Socks or Slippers
  • Massage Oil or Lotion
  • Tennis Ball for back labor massage

For Support Person

  • Snacks
  • Change of Clothes
  • Swim trunks for labor shower
  • Personal Hygiene Items
  • Money for Vending Machines, Cafeteria, or Ordering Out

For Mom

  • Nursing Bra if Breastfeeding or Sports Bra if Not Breastfeeding
  • Personal Hygiene Items (toothbrush/toothpaste, deodorant, soap, shampoo, conditioner, brush)
  • Cell phone
  • Pajamas and Robe (if you prefer your own)
